As a Family Practice Medical Provider working primarily in Community Health for the last 12 years, it has been a privilege for me to be able to participate in HopeFest. HopeFest seeks to provide immediate health and dental care to the uninsured, underinsured and underserved populations of the greater Phoenix area, while also connecting them to resources for long-term follow up. Medical volunteers come from all over the valley, some even from out of state. Thousands of clients are served in one day in a fun, festive, faith-based environment where clients are able to receive free haircuts, clothing, dental screening & treatments, vaccinations and medical check ups. If you are a medical or dental provider or student, I would encourage you to consider volunteering for HopeFest this year. It will be time well spent. If you are a person with unmet health needs, I would encourage you to come out to HopeFest this year and help us serve you!
